Networks of Quality, Teaching & Learning

Networks of Quality, Teaching and Learning

From the Director

The AKU-wide Networks of Quality, Teaching and Learning, set up by the Provost in 2013, aim to support excellence in our academic programmes to ensure a strong student learning experience where AKU graduates meet their programme learning outcomes.

We know that the way faculty members teach makes a difference to students. We also know that faculty require an enabling environment and support to promote an engaging academic experience for their students. In safe, inclusive spaces, QAI_net and TL_net offer a range of services, resources and programmes to faculty and entities on teaching excellence, scholarship and programme reviews. We will continue to work closely with and utilise the expertise of faculty development units such as the Departments for Educational Development and teacher education experts at the Institutes for Educational Development.

Kushamadeed - Karibu - Welcome to the Networks!

We are here to serve and support you in your commitment to the on-going improvement of our academic programmes.  We look forward to partnering with you to enhance effective practices in teaching, learning, assessment and quality at AKU.
