Raisa Gul (3).jpgDr Raisa Gul has been associated with AKU since 1985 and has served in various clinical, administrative, and academic positions with the University. Dr Gul completed her basic nursing education from Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, ​

followed by a post-RN BScN degree from McMaster University, Canada and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She obtained her doctoral degree and post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Apart from her administrative and academic roles, Dr Gul is actively engaged in research that focuses on the competence of educators, and the impact of patient education on their quality of life. She has been awarded several awards in recognition of her scholarship and service including, a Dissertation Fellowship from the University of Alberta, a Leadership  Education Grant from Sigma Theta Tau International, an outstanding facul away from AKU, and a gold medal from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nurses Association.
